Encouragement: Lets do it the Jesus Way!!!
We must be wise in how we interact with others; we must think before we speak, let alone posting anything. We need to ask ourselves, is it engaging with the Word of God, in the context we are presenting? Are we staying true to Jesus and His teachings? Are we being faithful to our convictions, and leaving absolutely no room for compromise? Are we being humble ambassadors for Christ?
What we share, post and discuss reveals our hearts, and I want to continue to allow the Holy Spirit to reign over every aspect of my life. I want the Holy Spirit to lead me into all good things concerning Christ Jesus.
I am not perfect far from it, but I do know that I need Jesus every single day to guide me into all that He has purposed for me, not my way but His Way, because His way leads to life everlasting, and He honors humility and sincerity. We must not allow our emotions to steer our lives, for they are ever fluctuating, we must allow the Spirit and His Truth lead us....
Here are three ways Satan comes after us...
- Emotional Desires- It will make you feel accepted and loved, (only for awhile)
- Physical Desires- It will taste good and feel good, (only temporarily)
- Material Desires- It will get you noticed. (don't get caught in the trap or snare of people pleasing, do only which is pleasing in God's Eyes.
The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:17)
I know I want all my desires to reflect the heart of Jesus Christ, and I absolutely cannot and will not do this life without Him, I would still be stuck in the grief of loss and pain so great that it brought me to the point of death, and I would still be trying to numb it all with drugs, and alcohol. Jesus Christ changed my life, he is restoring unto me the days the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25)
Remember Jesus loves you guys the MOST!!!!!!!
