Let Go Let God...

Lord help me to please lay down any hidden and buried grief, that is dragging me down, that is keeping me buried in the past…….

I will always miss them, and I will always love them, and cherish every sweet memory but I want to move forward strong in You, and don’t want to keep rehearsing the past, and allowing it to consume me.

I want to help others to move past theirs as well, not forgetting them, but holding them softly and gently, knowing they would not want us to be stricken and stuck in the absence of them, but to give way to freedom, and to nurture the good memories, laugh again, love again, and to stay firmly rooted in Your healing.

Though the parts of us that we were with them, will never return, help us to be ok with that and move forward making them proud of us, they would never want us to be burdened by them and their loss, they loved  us so much, and they would want us to learn to live, love, laugh and just be again.

And I trust You Jesus to help me through all of this, I love You and thank You in advance for You and Your unfailing love, mercy, grace and healing.
