"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket-safe, dark, motionless, airless-it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable."(C.S. Lewis)

Love is the greatest risk and venture we will ever take. You are more at risk of losing out on eternity if you never take that risk, if you are afraid to love, the only way to get past that fear, is to trust Jesus, give your heart to Him first, and let Him show you how to love, and I promise you, you will not regret it. I thought I knew what love was, but I never fully understood it until I gave my heart to Jesus to mend and repair all the brokenness I have endured, then and only then am I learning how to truly love, in a sacrificial way, not expecting anything else in return, just simply loving others as Jesus loves me, He gave His life for us all, a sadly, yet beautiful tragic sacrifice, He endured so much pain for us to be able to be saved and in turn do the same first for Him, and second, for everyone else. Every day I am learning how to heal, love, pray, be kind, and encourage others to do the same. By trusting Him and having faith in Him, He gives me the ability to do wonderful things I never thought possible. Love covers all the commandments. Love heals all, His Love heals all!  (ANS-G July 13 2024)
